Town's Under 18s extended their lead to six points with a 6-2 victory at Rocester in the Midland Floodlit Youth League. Town playing their first game since before Xmas fell a goal behind early on but late in the half Kieron Williams equalised for Castle before Nathan Sutton put Town in front before the interval. Early in the second half the home side drew level but Town regained the lead through Jake Stribling (pictured). Cue the star of the show - Mark Groom. On he came as substitute and scored three in two minutes to put Town 6-2 ahead. This is the second game in a row that he has come on as a sub and scored a hat-trick. Needless to say he has been brought into the squad for the Reserves for tomorrows game at home to Goldenhill Wanderers. Two of the Youth Team - keeper Joel Cliffe and leading scorer Nathan Sutton make the trip with the First Team to Ramsbottom in the League Cup.
