Newcastle Town first team play in the Moore & Co Solicitors North-West Counties Football League and are trying to move up the Football Pyramid into the Unibond League. This season they will also take part in the FA Cup, the FA Vase and the Staffs Senior Cup. There are high hopes of achieving success this season under new Chairman Carl Birchall and the new management team of Nigel Gleghorn and former skipper Neil Griffiths.
